Longer periods of sleep can be a trigger for nappy rash

The longer Autumn nights might make it easier for your little one to start sleeping through – giving you some well-deserved rest! But long periods of sleep without a nappy change can make your baby more prone to nappy rash.

Try to change wet or soiled nappies as soon as possible, even if it means disturbing your baby.

Clean the whole nappy area thoroughly, wiping from front to back, using plain water or alcohol and fragrance free baby wipes. Gently pat your baby’s bottom dry after washing and avoid vigorous rubbing.
